WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO:
Ironsite, Inc. is an employee-owned company that provides landscape and excavation services on public and private projects. The company has a long tradition of work in the Central Ohio area. Currently, our work is primarily related to public recreation and natural areas, subdivision development, industrial sitework and public utilities. Typical types of work on our projects are: Site work, mass excavation, grading, utility installation, building pads, landscaping, pavers, walls (Including big block), mass plantings, stream restorations, and seeding. We specialize in unique projects and projects where we can self-perform several of the listed work types.
OUR EMPLOYEES:
There are approx. 45 employees that call Ironsite, Inc. home. There are crews dedicated to mass excavation, fine grading, pipe, seeding, planting and walls. In the field, we have Heavy Equipment Operators, Excavation Laborers, Pipe layers, Top Man, Off Road Truck Drivers, Landscape Laborers and Landscape Equipment Operators. In addition, there are on-staff mechanics, drivers, and a complete office staff.
OUR EQUIPMENT:
The company’s fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers includes approx. 120 units. Heavy equipment ranges from skid steers to 300-400 size trackhoes. Many of the machines are outfitted with GPS machine control.
TRAINING:
Ironsite, Inc. provides safety training to all employees on a regular basis. This includes OSHA training, jobsite training, and safety meetings.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ironsite, Inc. has a strict Drug Free workplace policy which includes pre-employment and random drug tests. These tests include both hair tests and observed urine tests.
- Our projects are located throughout the Central Ohio area, and employees must have their own reliable transportation to get to the various job locations. Some travel may be required for jobsites that may be outside of the Central Ohio area.

PAY AND BENEFITS:
Wages are hourly with overtime over 40 hours and pay is weekly. Ironsite, Inc. has a system for moving up and growing with-in the company, and employees are evaluated annually. Employees are paid a base wage on private jobs. Most public jobs have a prevailing wage with a fringe benefit. Excess prevailing wage fringes are paid into retirement and these funds are 100% vested immediately. There is no union to join. Benefits become available starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment. The company retirement plan is robust and offers 100% of all benefits that are allowed by the IRS.
